More than 120 students participated on November 15th at the ninth edition of the #JOVULLSER event. The initiative, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Lleida, aims to connect young people aged 18 to 29 with businesses in the Lleida business community.
The event, held at the L’Amistat Theater in Mollerussa, featured a Business Zone, where Group Saltó also participated, introducing their A-mig robot to the young attendees. It was a great opportunity for students interested in the fields of robotics, programming, and the 4.0 technologies to receive firsthand information from one of the leading companies in the sector.
The A-mig robot is part of SomCare, the platform developed by Group Saltó with the aim of improving the lives of the elderly and people with disabilities with innovative solutions in assistive robotics. The company’s mission is to put technology at the service of people.
A-mig was the first robot developed by the company in a social innovation project in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council, addressing the concerning challenge of unwanted loneliness that affects over 90,000 people over 65 years old in the city of Barcelona.
The project’s results demonstrate that assistive robots make people feel more accompanied and secure, thus achieving a positive impact on their overall well-being.
For Group Saltó, connecting with the young talent in the region and providing guidance to those interested in entering the technological workforce was an honour. This event not only represented an opportunity to share knowledge but also reinforced the company’s ongoing commitment to contribute to a brighter and more inclusive technological future.
Group Saltó continues to invest in attracting and retaining local talent and in promoting professional growth.
