Group Saltó has launched the SOM Solutions project at the IOT Fair in Barcelona, a platform for optimising and managing processes and resources based on IoT technology, geolocation, Artificial Intelligence and mobility.

 From 29th to 31st November 2019  in Barcelona the IOT Solutions World Congress, took place, the leading international event for the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry. Over these 3 days more than 16,000 visitors from 120 countries have shared knowledge and experiences about the sector, in a specific space for companies and professionals in the field.

Group Saltó has presented its technological platform in the cloud SOM Solutions, which is the result of more than a decade of work in the field of operations management, with field equipment and integration with devices and connected systems, such as ATMs, kiosks, printers, audiovisual equipment, and so on.

Jordi Cabau, CTO de Group Saltó, gave a presentation about our application SOM CARE at the health conference. This conference focuses on in-depth studies of current cases of use and future possibilities of advanced technologies for the health sector.

Also presented during the IOT, within Testbeds, was ‘AI, IOT and 5g driven Home Health System’, where we demonstrated how health care providers, caregivers and patients can provide care in the home and respond quickly to emergencies originating in a patient’s home.

The SOM solution automates repetitive tasks, makes autonomous and intelligent decisions to solve different needs of companies, entities and even cities with the best resources, at the lowest cost and in the shortest time possible, thanks to the integration of a proprietary Artificial Intelligence system of resource management based on Automatic Learning algorithms or Machine Learning. In addition, SOM has the ability, through the use of Big Data techniques, to perform preventive and even predictive tasks, providing a solution to any problem that may emerge.
