We are developing a Virtual Reality platform to promote mental health.

The Saltó Group, together with the Childhood and Adolescence Research Team, Children’s Rights and their Quality of Life at the University of Girona, is developing a platform in which, through artificial intelligence and Augmented Reality, it is expected to improve mental health and prevent situations of risk and violence in children and youth.

Currently, the child welfare system lacks the necessary tools and resources to detect the various forms of violence in children and young people. It also needs resources to promote mental health.

For this reason, the platform aims to provide families and educational centers with technological tools to promote the mental health of children and youth, through Virtual Reality games.

The working group formed by a team of psychologists, teachers, and computer engineers is developing this technology for children and young people between 8 and 12 years old.

The project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the State Research Agency, and the European Union with Next Generation funds.
